Hostel Pinn, The Hostel Where to Stay at in Tbilisi

hostel pinn where stay tbilisi

Tbilisi is an amazing city, with much to see and much to do. Hostel Pinn, on the other hand, is an awesome hostel where to stay in Tbilisi.

Tbilisi is just one of the reasons why you need to travel to Georgia. I’ve stayed in the capital city for 5 nights in total. First, I stayed there for 4 nights, then went to Kazbegi and got back to Tbilisi for one more night before I leave for Kutaisi on the next day.

While I was staying in Tbilisi, both times, I choose to stay at Hostel Pinn. For my second visit, I didn’t have anything booked in advance but after my first days in the hostel, I decided to stay there again because I really liked the hostel a lot. Also, I kind of fell in love with the city. There are so many cool and fun things to do in Tbilisi!

Why Hostel Pinn is the best hostel where to stay in Tbilisi?

This is something that I can not tell for sure as I haven’t been to any others but I can at least tell you why I believe is the best hostel where to stay in Tbilisi and why I liked it so much that now I can say that Hostel Pinn is one of my favorite hostels I’ve ever stayed at.

Now let’s get to the point!

Hostel Pinn aka the hostel where to stay in Tbilisi

Location

Hostel Pinn is located in a few minutes walking distance from Freedom Square, in a few minutes walking distance from the Old Town, and in a few minutes walking distance from the center of Tbilisi.

Overall, if you stay at Hostel Pinn it will be very easy for you to get around the city.

At Freedom Square, there are many bus stops and also one of the metro stops.

How did I get there the first time not knowing anything about how to get around in Tbilisi.

I arrived in Tbilisi from Batumi with marshrutka. I knew that there is something like a main ”bus station” or something and I don’t know why I thought it will be somewhere in the center of the city and probably close to the hostel. I was wrong!

In the marshrutka, one man started talking to me. Unfortunately, his English was very bad and my Russian is very bad as well so it was a bit difficult to understand each other.

When I asked him how to get to Freedom Square he told me that the metro goes there. I don’t know what else he understood or what he was trying to tell me because, in the end, he told me that the metro runs until 6 pm (it was 6 pm), which I was sure is not the case.

When I asked him in the first place, the other people in the marshrutka started asking him where am I going and how can they help. They started looking at their phones to see where the address of the hostel is (Georgian people, ladies, and gentlemen, so kind and friendly!). However, in the end, one man and I decided to share a taxi and that’s how I made it to the hostel the first time.

But don’t panic! Is not difficult at all to find Hostel Pinn and to get there from Didiube station. I was just unprepared.

Rooms

I’ve stayed in a dorm room in Hostel Pinn

The rooms were very clean and the bed was comfortable. I really liked that every bed has a curtain, which gives you some more privacy. Every bed also has a locker, where you can store your valuables.

The bathrooms and the showers were also very clean!

They also have private rooms if you would like some more privacy.

What I liked the most about Hostel Pinn and why I believe is one of the best places where to stay at in Tbilisi is also the reason that I felt at home. Weird, right?

The hostel is cozy, quiet, and relaxed and you really don’t feel like you’re in a hostel.

Kitchen

The kitchen at the hostel is very well equipped, maintained, and clean. I’ve used it a couple of times to prepare breakfast but most of the time I was eating outside.

The coffee and tea are free!

The staff

The staff is another reason if you’re wondering where to stay in Tbilisi, choose Hostel Pinn. The people working there are lovely and they speak perfect English!

There was especially one girl that works there that I really liked but unfortunately, I didn’t ask her about her name. She was always smiling and we even wanted to kidnap one adorable dog owned by other guests of the hostel.

Everyone was helpful and friendly.

The reception is open 24 hours.

Another thing worth mentioning is the fast and reliable Wi-Fi. I was working while I was staying in Tbilisi, so for me was very important to have a good internet connection.
